My name is Morgan Ellem and I am a natural light photographer based in Brisbane, Australia. I have been in business for just over one year, and I'm so incredibly lucky to be able to do what I love, while still being a stay at home mum to my beautiful 2 year old boy. I specialise in maternity, newborn, baby and family photography - I love being able to document life beginning in a mother's belly, meeting baby in their newborn session, catching up with them for their first birthday session, then photographing their growing family when Mum is pregnant again. My clients mean the absolute world to me - I love to be able to capture their emotion and character through one of the most special stages of their lives.

Hi I'm Lacey Barnwell of LB Studios. I am located in Birmingham, Alabama. I began my photography business a year and a half ago. Until this past week I have shot every type of client/event you could imagine trying to figure out my niche. But, my absolute favorite things to photograph are the littlest of clients which is why I began to specialize primarily in birth, newborn, and baby portraiture. I feel this is where my talent lies and I cannot wait to continue to grow my talent! Now that I am specializing I hope to have time to concentrate on perfecting my art. I plan to attend several workshops in the coming months/years specifically for newborns and babies. My little clients melt my heart and I truly feel I am doing God's will for my career. It is a great feeling to know you are in the right place :)

I'm mainly a studio photographer in Rock Island Illinois, surrounded by cornfields and the Mississippi river.  In June I made the big scary announcement that I'll be switching over to baby's first year only.  While it was a very scary jump to make I just finished up a string of thirteen newborns in a row....so I think I made the right choice!  I'm high volume so between my three kids and my hubby who is a pastor my schedule keeps me hopping.  My most favorite subjects have always been babies, it's amazing to me how quickly they grow and change in that first year!  I've been a photographer for eight years now and began in a home studio then moved to a retail studio for two years and after the lovely economy "dip" in '08 found myself working out of my home again.  It's very tiny but I make it work!  The area I live in is very saturated with photographers so I work extra hard at standing out.  One way I do that is by building almost all of my sets and backdrops from scratch.  I have a handy hubby and we love putting our heads together to build and come up with unique one of a kind sets!  Prop shopping is probably my favorite hobby lol and I love taking things my clients bring me (like sports items or things that match their nursery) and making it into a a little set for baby.  I'm so flattered that Little Keira's Bows decided to feature me, thank you so much!!

I'm genuinely tickled pink, to have been asked to be a featured photographer with Little Keira's Bows! I am originally from Michigan, but have recently moved to Yuma, Arizona, where I'm now thoroughly enjoying the military lifestyle here. I consider myself to be an artist just as much as a photographer who tends to fall in love with my clients when they're just a few days old, and never want to stop photographing them, even years later when they're getting married. One of my most favorite things about photography, is the fact that one simple photograph can bring thousands of different emotions or memories. Those memories of the little ones growing up, of that big 'ol pregnant belly, the moment before two people say "I do" or even the moment of when you're welcoming home a loved one from war- should not go unnoticed. They should be simply, photographed so that you may cherish those memories for a lifetime. I know that I have chosen the right career path for myself & couldn't be more thankful to have the people in my life who have helped make my dreams a reality.
